There has been a lot of write ups about popular reality TV star Chumlee and about how he lost a lot of body weight. Most of the speculations have had him drinking weight loss supplements while others have taken into consideration that he may have gone under the knife for an operation to lose weight. His father’s demise due to pancreatic cancer served as a very strong message for Chumlee to get on up and get himself together to live a much healthier lifestyle. When his father passed away weeks before the airing of their TV series, Chumlee looked at the situation and made a mental note of giving his health the added priority as he did not want to suffer the ill fate that his father had to go through.

One of the first few steps that enables Chumlee to cut off from the unhealthy lifestyle that he was so used to was to change up his diet. During interviews Chumlee would always answer that he always managed to stay away from food that had preservatives, except for mustard, and he strictly followed that regimen as much as he could.

He also made it a point to follow his current motto, “Everything in moderation” and apply this to all of the food that he is allowed to eat. Even on a cheat day, which he practices once a week, he makes it a habit not to go overboard and still stick to controlling the amount of food that he eats, even if it is his favorite cheat food like pizza.

Though it has always been a tough task for him to follow, Chumlee made it a point to naturally get his body prepared to become more healthy and to practice steps that will help him make the right choices when it came to food. His diet also requires him to become more aware of a well balanced meal.

Of course together with his diet, Chumlee also made it a point to live a more active lifestyle and he has golf to thank. He has been seen to play a round of golf as much as he can because he really does love the sport and has been seen even being coached by some of the best in the industry.

Other than golf, Chumlee also puts in time at the gym for his regular exercise schedules. He sticks to a 6 day a week training program and has one day off for rest and recuperation.

What made up his diet were high quality food in the form of lean meats and protein, high fiber vegetables and complex carbohydrates.
